The Traditional Summer Festival of Japan is coming to NYC

We will have a "Yukata" Photo Contest and a record 60 food vendors much more


NYC - Jforward Inc will present a JAPAN Fes themed "Natsu-Maturi", which means Japanese Traditional Summer Festival, taking place in East Village(4th Ave,9-11St) on Aug 28.
This is the annual event for us and lots of New Yorkers in Yukata or Kimono, traditional Japanese wear, will attend and have a lot of fun.
At the event, we will provide the attendees with the contents which fulfill the fun of Japanese traditions below.　
・Yukata Photo Contest- Post a photo of a selfie in Yukata on their Instagram and get votes to decide a winner.
・Yo-Yo Fishing- Try fishing Yo-Yo balls, and colorfully decorated balloons, with a rod. Yo-Yo and the rod are small and easy to fall off. And more it will be floating on the water and moving continuously. It's needed to concentrate and it's thrilling. 
・Scooping Super Balls- The challengers ​​use a flat, round scoop with a handle and try to catch super balls from a water tank. It's made of paper with a plastic frame, and the paper tears easily when it gets wet. It is a game that requires subtlety and daring.


A record number of 60 food vendors will feature at this event.The attendees can enjoy traditional Japanese food like "Takoyaki (octopus ball)", "Yakitori (Chickens on the skewer)", "Ramen '', and so on.
The street will be filled with the atmosphere of the authentic Japanese festival "MATSURI" but the attendees are New Yorkers in traditional Japanese wear.

Why not wear a kimono or yukata while trying the different skewers? There will be a KIMONO booth, a TENUGUI booth, and other cultural booths as well! Want to see cool dance moves or hear a Japanese song sung live ? We will have some amazing performances as well!
